It's just Rich being... well, Rich. 'Nuff said.
(I've always liked that phrase... " 'Nuff said ". I don't get to use it nearly as much as I'd like.)

I think you should spell it the way it really would be spelled if it were a real contraction: 'nough said. It would be fun to watch people stumble, possibly pronounce it as thought it rhymed with dough. D'oh!
